We just arrived in La Fortuna for the night, we´re visiting Arenal the volcano tomorrow and then were going to Heredia. We went horse back riding to hot springs and went down the river a little bit. it was so so gorgeous and reminded me a lot of the rivers at the CA cabin. the horseback riding was really fun but we all got lots of bug bites, mine are pretty nasty and they are all in the same spot which is fabuous. its been really fun talking with my family too and i´ve learned a lot of interesting things about costa rica from them. then yesterday we went on a long hike through the rainforest to San Luis which is a huge waterfall! we jujped off and went swimming in the freezing water but still it was reallly fun. on the way back we got caught in a downpour of rain but it was still warm and made the hike very interesting. last night i played solitaire with my mom and memory with nayeli the 7 yr old. my mama tica and me talked for 3 and a half hours and stayed up really late but it was cool to be able to speak spanish for that long. they really liked the jam and hazelnuts i gave them and we had the jam on pancakes this morning. if i haven´t mentioned it the coffee is so amazing here. but this morning we left to this other city and were staying in a hotel for the night. were going to hot springs tonight also and wandering around the city some more. then tomorrow we meet our new family which i´m kinda nervous for. well i miss you all so much but i´m almost to busy to think about it a lot. hope everything at home is great! and jack i have seen some amazing birds ha!! and also about 1000000 dogs that just walk around the street. everywhere is so beautiful and i have some awesome pictures. as my spanish is getting better my english is getting worse so sorry about my horrible grammar
con amor,
Kelsey

Kelsey, this all just sounds so cool! I hope you got to see the volcano at night with lava flowing -- that is a treat. And I'm glad I reminded you about the birds. Ha! You sound so caught up in the experience -- it's great!

Hi Kels!!! It is so fun to hear about your many adventures! I can't wait to see your pictures; everything sounds so gorgeous and different!! It is understandable that you would be a bit nervous to change families. You are so good in new situations, that I am sure this will be equally as wonderful. Love always, Mom uunhdoiXOXOXOXO
Hey Kelse!
We are driving down the I-5 on our way to LA, but we're able to keep up with your blog from my phone. It sounds so beautiful there! Have you seen any other wildlife?
We will leave for Buenos Aires tomorrow morning, but we'll check back often to read about your experiences in Costa Rica. Have a great time!
