We went to the butterfly garden yesterday and then to school. which was so much fun, we just got to talk to and it was a lot more relaxed. then after school we had a cooking class and made plantino empenadas con frijoles. they were interesting but it was a good activity. after that we all went to kung fu panda a new animation movie in spanish and it was awesome to be able to understand all of it. it was kinda funny but mostly just fun to hear in spanish. this morning we went to a school to help out kids and they were so cute. it was in a bad neighborhood and we really saw a different side of the city. we had school like always and then we have tonight with our families. i´m excited for the beach this weekend! i have so many good stories and pictures. im also keeping a journal which is a little better then my blog. but thats all for now!

Más frijoles, eh? Do you eat them as often as you thought you would?
It sounds like you're doing much better with your Spanish than we are! We've found that in the non-touristy areas, some of the locals speak so fast that we can't understand them at all.
